This is a simple worksheet that can be used as part of a module introducing Morality. It consists of a short definition matching exercise and a longer written exercise where the students must give examples for each definition. It is suitable for KS3/KS4/Junior Certificate class groups. I have uploaded a word document and a pdf. of the file in case there are any formatting issues.

This presentation and worksheet will give a broad overview of Absolute Morality with a focus on Kantian Ethics. It is intended to be used for a whole 50 minute lesson. The PPT contains lots of discussion activities that will engage students. The PPT directs to the worksheet at appropriate stages to work with a partner. There are also slides which direct students to copy them down in their notebooks, if the class uses them. There is an extension activity for lower order question at the end of the PPT. It is suitable for KS4 or a high-ability KS3 group. It can be used in both a denominational and non-denominational classroom. *Worksheet has upload as a MS Word file and also a .pdf in case of formatting issues. A link to a video resource has also been included.

It can be used in both a denominational and non-denominational classroom context. It can be used as part of a module on cults or New Religious Movements (NRMS). The PPT contains a basic introduction to the International Society for Krishna Consciousness but more commonly known as the Hare Krishnas, as well as basic beliefs. The presentation includes a link to a short YouTube video portraying a group in London (2012) as well as them singing the Hare Krishna mantra. This Powerpoint presentation about Islamic beliefs about the Revelation of the Qur’an to the Prophet Muhammad. This is suitable for one full lesson period. Learning objectives are included at the start of the presentation. The link to the video that the students can watch while they complete their second activity is included in the video and to this page. It also includes two activities. Firstly, there is a worksheet where the students can complete a written task summarizing Islamic beliefs about the Revelation of the Qur’an. Secondly there is a cut and stick task where the students read about what the Qur’an teaches and sort them into ‘true/false’ piles. In actuality, all are correct. It is suitable for KS3/KS4/Junior Certificate class groups.
